Soroptimist Gala Fundraiser and Luncheon Announced

From Soroptimist International of Upper Montgomery County: Mayor Jud Ashman will present three “Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women.” He will also present the prestigious Ruby Award to Ms. Teresa Wright, Instructional Specialist with the MCPS Division of Family and Community Engagement, for her work in helping immigrant families achieve success in their children's education.

There will be special recognition for the nine Gaithersburg High School Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls Scholarship winners.

The event also includes an Auction and Chance Raffle to support SIUMC’s sole objective: the development and advancement of women and girls in our local community through mentoring support, career development, scholarship programs and social and economic empowerment assistance.
