Winter Landscapes Galore

Recently I've been working on a new series of winter and specifically snow mountains' landscapes based on my vision and my memory of the beautiful Alps. The upcoming holiday art exhibition titled "DREAMSCAPES" will be opening very soon. The opening reception will be this Saturday December 16 from 5-8 PM at "Aureo Roma" art Gallery in the historic quarters of Rome just a few block from the iconic Roman Colosseum. The exhibit is wonderfully curated and consists of internationally renowned artists from countries such as Spain, the US and France. I will have my latest impressionist and expressionist winter landscape paintings on display. So, if you are on a Roman Holiday make sure to visit this engaging exhibition in the hip and modern gallery located in one of Rome's trendiest neighborhoods filled with stylish boutiques of the latest Italian fashion modes, and delicious Italian bistros and restaurants. The Exhibit will run for the winter season.

In our neck of the woods, it's looking a lot like Christmas. Thankfully, we do have all fours seasons to enjoy in the DC / DMV area from stunning pink cherry blossom trees in the spring to charming fluffy snow scenery in the winter. The combination of the holidays' festivities along with the beautifully decorated shops, houses and streets mixed with nature's winter elegance, one can't help but feel all excited with anticipation and happiness during this magical season. Just a few days remain till the holidays. Yet, one still has some time to go shopping and get meaningful authentic and unique gifts such as giving the gift of art: be it purchasing an original painting from Borchert's last creations of winter landscapes, or becoming more creative for the new year and enrolling in Borchert's upcoming winter art classes. Vian has her latest impressionist winter and fall landscapes in a noteworthy exhibit locally in Maryland at the historic Glen Echo Park at the Popcorn & Stone Tower Gallery in Glen Echo, MD. Vian made especially small affordable paintings available for purchase for this joyful season. The exhibit will run till Jan. 8, 2018.
