Woman Indicted On Vehicular Manslaughter, Homicide Charges: Montgomery Co. Police

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A Gaithersburg woman has been indicted on charges of vehicular manslaughter and homicide while under the influence of alcohol.

Jeniffer Vallecillo, 34, was involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision at Midcounty Highway and Saybrooke Oaks Boulevard Nov. 29, 2021.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, Vallecillo was driving a 2021 Toyota Camry when her vehicle collided with 49-year-old Anupom Ghosh of Gaithersburg, who was driving a 2018 Honda CRV. Ghosh was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

CRU detectives determined that Vallecillo had been driving at a high rate of speed and was under the influence of alcohol when she ran a red light and collided with Ghosh’s Honda. She awaits trial.
