ALDI, Harris Teeter, Wegmans: Christmas Hours In Germantown

GERMANTOWN, MD — Remembering to stock every ingredient for your Christmas dinner isn't easy. Whether it's brown sugar to glaze the ham, or wine to toast the holiday, there's always something that doesn't make it into the shopping cart. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

Should you need to make a last-minute grocery run, don't panic. Several grocery stores in Germantown will be open — at least for a little while — on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store. Here's a list of stores that will be open and closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.

What's Open On Dec. 24 and/or 25

• Harris Teeter:
  • The store located at 14101 Darnestown Rd is normally open 24 hours a day
  • On Christmas Eve, this location will close at 7 p.m.
• Giant Food:
  • The store located at 13060 Middlebrook Rd will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • The store located at 18331 Leaman Farm Rd from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • The store located at 20944 Frederick Rd from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is the only location open on Christmas Day
• Safeway:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 5 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
  • On Christmas Day, the store will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Walmart:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 6 a.m. and close at midnight
• Wegmans Food Markets:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open at 6 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
• Shoppers:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• ALDI:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
