• Police Investigate Deadly Driveway Accident Involving Family Member (wfmd.com) — A 75-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle in a residential driveway on the 11600 block of Drumcastle Terrace in Germantown Friday afternoon. Police say a family member was driving and stayed at the scene, and the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is now investigating what led to the fatal crash.    

• MCPD Reports Robbery, School Threat, and Multiple Auto Thefts in April 30 Crime Summary (mocoshow.com) — Montgomery County police reported several April 30 crimes, including a school-related threat in the 5th District, which covers Germantown and Clarksburg. A student at Laytonsville Elementary reported overhearing a threat about bringing a weapon to school; officers searched and found no weapon, while other incidents included robbery, burglary, and auto thefts across the county.
