Today, AT&T is excited to announce new 4G LTE enhancements in Germantown, boosting coverage around the intersection near N. Frederick Road and Gunners Branch Road by the shopping center
What does this mean? Residents, shoppers, local business and visitors to the area can expect faster, improved service. That means that you will be able to send pictures of a shirt you are thinking of buying to a friend, instagram pictures of your meals, or check your email faster! We’ve enhanced coverage by alleviating congestion at surrounding cell sites and creating a more robust network.
This is part of a larger effort to enhance AT&T’s network in the area. From 2012 through 2014, AT&T has invested more than $550 million in its network in the region.
