Baby Girl Born On I-270 In Montgomery County: MCFRS
A baby girl was born on Interstate 270 in Montgomery County on Sunday morning.
GERMANTOWN, MD — A mother gave birth to a baby girl on Interstate 270 in the Clarksburg area Sunday morning.
The woman went into labor around 11 a.m., according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer. First responders from Clarksburg and Hyattstown helped deliver the baby on southbound I-270, near Comus Road.
Piringer added that the grandparents were in the area and stopped by in time for the surprise delivery.

He said the mother and baby girl are doing fine, as is the father.
