‘Playful’ Exhibit On View at BlackRock

Works by Mark Behme, Mark Giaimo and Emily Green Liddle will be on view through July 21.

An exhibit in the main gallery of BlackRock Center for the Arts attempts to tap into the playful side of art.

The exhibit, Playful, features work by Mark Behme, Mark Giaimo and Emily Green Liddle. The show will be on view through July 21.

The Main Gallery at BlackRock Center for the Arts presents the exhibit “Playful,” wood sculpture, electric guitars and oil paintings by Mark Behme, Mark Giaimo and Emily Green Liddle.

The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. The gallery will also be open on Saturday evenings in July, before and during the free summer concerts at BlackRock.

BlackRock sent Patch a few examples of what’s in the show, with some comments from the artists about thier work.
