Blueberry Smoothie

Fun blueberry dessert recipes just in time for blueberry season.

Smoothies are a good way to get rid of the glut of blueberries in the freezer or one’s you’ve canned for later use. They’re also a way to sneak some nutrition into a dessert. The USDA says blueberries are a good source of vitamin C and are low in calories. Butler’s Orchard in Germantown has shared a smoothie recipe that incorporates low-fat blueberry yogurt, cranberry juice, and frozen or canned blueberries. We’ll be running other blueberry recipes throughout the month. Got a favorite recipe? Share it. Think this one’s a dud? Let us know.
