Chesterbrook Academy Students Raise Funds for Cancer Research

Students held a lemonade stand to raise funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Germantown recently raised over $360 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization that has funded more than 1,000 grants providing research, treatment and support for children and their families fighting cancer. Students held a lemonade stand in their school, where they sold cookies and lemonade to benefit the organization. Through their efforts, students were able to surpass their initial donation goal of $200. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other children in need.
