College Readiness Workshops

The College & Career Center at Seneca Valley High School will offer a program of 5 FREE College Readiness Workshops  the week of August 13.  Each day a different topic will be explored to help students understand the most important areas of preparing for college access:  Monday:  Using the MCPS Family Connections program in the College Search Process; Tuesday:  What are colleges looking for in your application/the process; Wednesday: Writing a great Admissions Essay/Personal statement; Thursday:  Using the Common Application for college applications; Friday: Looking for and getting Financial Aid & Scholarships.   Offered twice each day, either from 10-12 a.m. or 1-3 p.m. each day, students may choose morning or afternoon sessions.  Contact Mrs. Patty Maloney @ SVHS College/Career Center (301) 353-8029 or Patricia_A_Maloney@mcpsmd.org
