Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) celebrates the Lunar New Year with a variety of free programs in February marking the New Year 4709. Lunar New Year, which starts with the new moon on the first day of the New Year and ends on the full moon 15 days later, began on January 23.
Programs will be held according to the following schedule:Ā

Li Ming Chinese SchoolĀ will perform traditional Chinese Lion Dance, Chinese arts, martial arts and Chinese yo-yo demonstrations. CallĀ 240-777-0110.
Registration is not required. Unless otherwise noted, programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc.
