The December holiday edition of “Third Thursday at the BlackRock Bistro” features the folk duo The Kennedys on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 in BlackRock’s cabaret-style Studio Theatre. The merriment includes beer, wine and snacks for purchase; audience members are invited to “BYO dinner.” The Kennedys, comprised of husband-and-wife duo Pete and Maura Kennedy, are known for spinning their experiences and beliefs into winsome original songs. With Maura on vocals and Pete on instrumentals, they blend acoustic-based folk, rock, country and pop into a sound that is delightfully their own.
