Kids 4 and up are invited to join Vic Caldarola, Director of Religious Education at the Sugarloaf Congregation of Unitarian Universalists, on a stream walk at one of our local streams. This is part of the Summer Sundays program for children of Sugarloaf, and visitors are welcome.
Parents of younger kids are asked to accompany their children on the walk. Parents of older kids may go on the walk or are invited to attend the service at 10:30. The service is entitled, "Education and Economic Justice" and will be presented by lay leader Colin Doyle, who writes, "The sharp rise in economic inequality in our society presents a major challenge to social justice. Economists tell us that the main driver of this growing disparity in income is disparity in educational achievement. If we are to achieve a more equal society, we must strive to provide a quality education to all. What can we Unitarian Universalists do to advance this goal?"
