Ex-Redskins Player Stops at Germantown Best Buy

Former Redskins linebacker Ken Harvey will be at the Germantown Best Buy on Saturday, as part of the chain’s ceremonial redesign unveiling.

Best Buy is located at 20914 Frederick Rd., at Milestone Center.

Harvey will be available for pictures at noon. The company officials also plan to present a check to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, a Best Buy representative told Patch.

The event is one of several regional celebrations Saturday, an attempt to build buzz around new store designs. Clinton Portis was scheduled to make an appearance at a Best Buy in Alexandria, VA; Brian Mitchell was set to be at a Best Buy in Sterling, VA, a company spokeswoman said.
