Germantown Oktoberfest to Feature Fireworks at Dusk

The Germantown Oktoberfest is a nonprofit event organized solely through volunteer efforts and supported by community sponsors and raises funds for local community charities. Now in its 32nd year, the event has attracting thousands since 1983 and is a fun-filled day of live music and performances, delicious food, children’s games and inflatables, exhibits by local crafters, artists and businesses, and roaming entertainment. The Oktoberfest Wine and Biergarten -- featuring traditional food and beverage and a dance floor to show off waltz and polka skills! The event is capped off with a spectacular display of fireworks! Admission to the Germantown Oktoberfest is a FREE and is open to the public. The official event sponsor is Wegman’s. “Wegman’s: Every day you get our Best” and is located at 20600 Seneca Meadows Parkway Germantown MD 20876. The Lions Club is offering free vision, glaucoma, and hearing tests.
