Walmart’s Germantown store recently celebrated its diversity by holding International Day. Forty-nine different nationalities work at the Germantown Walmart and are represented in the surrounding community. To celebrate that diverse community, Walmart associates dressed in their native costumes at work that day. They also shared food from their respective countries with their fellow workers. International Day started two years ago at the Germantown store and the idea has now been picked up by a number of other Walmart stores.
