High School Graduation Guide

It’s almost time to turn the tassel. Germantown-area high schools are preparing graduations this week and in the coming days — the class of 2011’s last goodbye. Here are a few logistics:

Seneca Valley High School
When: 10 a.m. today, Thursday, June 2,
Where: DAR Constitution Hall, Washington, D.C.
Speaker:  Dr. Gregory E. Bell, supervisor, diversity initiatives for Montgomery County Public Schools

Northwest High School
When: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7
Where: DAR Constitution Hall, Washington, D.C.
Speaker: John Harwood, chief CNBC Washington correspondent and political writer for The New York Times

Clarksburg High School
When: 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 
Where: Mount St. Mary's University, Emmitsburg, Md.
Speaker: Mr. Jeremiah C. Spoales, social studies teacher and varsity soccer coach
