The
first rule of Hike Club - have fun! Meet us once a month this summer to improve
your fitness, make new friends, and experience trails and scenery we don’t
often make time to immerse ourselves in. Hikes will increase in distance and
difficulty every month. These hikes will prepare you for our two day “Four
State Challenge” on the Appalachian Trail in September. Bring a light pack with
snacks, bug spray, water, and a hat. Please wear broken-in hiking boots that
offer ankle protection. This 9.8 mile hike through forests, ridge lines, stream
valleys, and wetlands will cover most of Little Bennett Regional Park, Montgomery
County’s largest park. Meet at the Wilson Mill Parking area on Clarksburg
Road/Rt. 121.FOBH $18.
