Hike Club:Seneca Creek Greenway Gallop

The
first rule of Hike Club - have fun! Meet us once a month this summer to improve
your fitness, make new friends, and experience trails and scenery we don’t
often make time to immerse ourselves in. Hikes will increase in distance and
difficulty every month. These hikes will prepare you for our two day “Four
State Challenge” on the Appalachian Trail in September. Bring a light pack with
snacks, bug spray, water, and a hat. Please wear broken-in hiking boots that
offer ankle protection. Discover adventure right in your backyard! Starting
along the Potomac River, we’ll cover 16.6 miles to  each our destination in Seneca Creek State
Park. We’ll trek past the ruins of old mills and through the stream valley.
Meet at the Riley’s Lock Road parking area. We’ll provide a shuttle at the end
of the hike to get you back to your vehicle. FOBH $18. Register at
ParkPASS.org - 281799. 18 & up.  $20
