Man Killed In Germantown Home Invasion Shooting Monday Night
A Germantown homeowner told police he shot a man who was trying to force his way into his home. He has not been charged or arrested.
GERMANTOWN, MD — A Germantown homeowner told police he shot and killed a man who was trying to force his way into his house on Monday night. Louis Alfredo Sanchez Jr., 31, was killed, Montgomery County Police said.
The homeowner has not been charged and his identity has not been released by police.
The Emergency Communications Center received calls around 7:30 p.m. on Monday about shots fired, and received a call from the homeowner that someone was trying to get into his house. Police say the homeowner shot Sanchez after he made that call.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Baltimore medical examiner will perform the autopsy, MCP said.
