Montgomery College Crunch Time

This week at Montgomery College Germantown Campus: Bioscience Education Center groundbreaking, and a chance to register for MC Rockville's Poetry Slam!

It’s crunch time! Welcome to another Montgomery College Crunch Time for Germantown Campus.  It’s a quiet week concerning events on campus. On Monday, March 7, campus will be crowded with an expected 200 visitors for the groundbreaking of the new Germantown Bioscience Education Center.  Classes will not be disrupted due to the groundbreaking.

From 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday, the Bioscience Education Center groundbreaking event will have campus packed with people.  MC Germantown’s Director of Facilities Maurice McCambley urges students to consider carpooling, taking the Ride-On bus, or finding alternate parking to accommodate the expected 200 visitors..  Lot B on campus will be reserved for the Board of Trustees and other visiting dignitaries of the college, and the gravel lots will be closed.

Keep in mind that MC students can use the Ride-On buses for free.  Just show the driver your semester-validated MC ID card and you can get to class.  It’s better for the environment, and the more students that take Ride-On bus on Monday means more available parking for the Bioscience Education Center groundbreaking event.
