Pivot Physical Therapy Opens in Germantown

Pivot Physical Therapy, a leading provider of physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and sports medicine services, has opened its newest clinic in Germantown, MD. The new clinic marks the fifth Pivot Physical Therapy location in Montgomery County, securing the company a strong presence along the 270 corridor. The Germantown clinic joins 38 locations in Maryland and a network of more than 75 Pivot Physical Therapy clinics throughout the East Coast.

Kimberly McKay is the clinic director at Pivot Physical Therapy’s Germantown location where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the clinic, in addition to treating patients. McKay’s specialties include inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation, orthopedics, and sports medicine. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and participates in an OSC Residency Program provided by Pivot Physical Therapy in partnership with NXT Gen Institute of Physical Therapy.

In addition to its physical therapy clinics, Pivot Physical Therapy provides athletic training and sports medicine services to more than 45 scholastic and collegiate athletic departments throughout the East Coast. Services include year-round game day coverage, comprehensive concussion management programs, and injury screens. The certified athletic trainers also teach courses to high school coaches on the care and prevention of athletic injuries.
