Shooting Death In Germantown Investigated As Homicide: Police

Montgomery County Police are investigating the shooting death of a 20-year-old in Germantown as a homicide.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Detectives are investigating a deadly shooting on Churchill Ridge Circle as a homicide, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.

On Tuesday, around 12:32 a.m., police and fire officials responded to the 12900 block of Churchill Ridge and found a 20-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to a press statement. Police identified the victim as Stephen Frazier, 20, of Germantown.

Authorities said Frazier was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Police urge anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
