For seniors newly diagnosed with memory loss, there is a safe, supportive and enriching social Club in upper Montgomery County.
The Thome Kensington Club@ Germantown Community Center is a new upcounty non-sectarian and co-ed program of the Jewish Council for the Aging, designed to meet the needs of adults in the early stages of diagnosed memory loss. It also provides much needed care partner respite. Since 2008, JCA’s Kensington Clubs have provided socialization with peers and meaningful cognitive and physical activity in comfortable surroundings. Members must be independent with walking and self cares. Call 202.735.3464 or 301.255.4204 for information on enrollment and monthly dues.
