For over thirty years, we have provided families with a safe, engaging, and active summer camp experience for children three years old to fourteen. With the sprawling Sandy Spring Friends School campus, we offer summer experiences for your children that will provide lifelong memories and friendships. As part of the national Tip-A-Cop event, Montgomery County police officers will collect tips and help serve Red Robin restaurant guests to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD).The local charity event will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Red Robin restaurant at 20001 Century Blvd. in Germantown.The following agencies will have officers represented:<ul><li>Montgomery County Police Department</li><li>Chevy Chase Village Police Department</li><li>Gaithersburg Police Department</li><li>Maryland-National Capital Park Police – Montgomery County Division</li><li>Montgomery County Police Explorers</li><li>Rockville City Police Department</li><li>Takoma Park Police Department</li></ul>Events like "Tip-A-Cop" help the Special Olympics provide physical fitness and healthcare education programs at no cost to the Special Olympic athletes and their families.Residents are invited to come out and eat a great meal while supporting a great cause!
