Tip-A-Cop To Benefit Special Olympics Maryland

The charity event will take place Saturday at the local Red Robin.

As part of the national Tip-A-Cop event, Montgomery County police officers will collect tips and help serve Red Robin restaurant guests to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD).

The local charity event will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Red Robin restaurant at 20001 Century Blvd. in Germantown.

Events like “Tip-A-Cop” help the Special Olympics provide physical fitness and healthcare education programs at no cost to the Special Olympic athletes and their families.

Residents are invited to come out and eat a great meal while supporting a great cause!
