Upcounty Theatre Tackles Sexuality, Faith, Love, and Family in Geoffrey Nauffts's Acclaimed Play Next Fall
Upcounty Theatre's new production, the comedy-drama Next Fall, at BlackRock Center for the Arts on August 14, 15, 21, and 22.

Upcounty Theatre’s latest production, Next Fall, is a witty and provocative expression of faith, commitment, and unconditional love. Though the production’s central story follows the five-year relationship between Adam and Luke, Next Fall is more than a typical romance. This gripping performance forces us to examine what it means to ‘believe’ and what it might cost us not to. The Supreme Court’s recent decision on Marriage Equality directly relates to the challenges presented in Next Fall, offering a compelling and timely illustration of the trials familiar to the LGBT community. However, the play’s relatable characters and themes of love, faith and family are universal.
Next Fall is running on August 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd at 8:00PM at BlackRock Center for the Arts. BlackRock Center for the Arts is located at 12901 Town Commons Drive in Germantown, MD 20874. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. To purchase your tickets online, please visit http://www.upcountytheatre.org.
