Do not be fooled by the name of the baton twirling team. They might be named the Wheaton Majorettes, but they hone their craft at Roberto Clemente Middle School in Germantown every week. It has been more than 50 years since the D'Anna family started teaching in their basement, and their national and world championship titles are too numerous to mention. They have a rich history in the sport of baton and even have a trophy named after them at the National Baton Twirling Championships. They are commited to excellence through dedication. Here's a glimpse of the hard work that goes into baton twirling.
