1 Dead, 2 Injured In Shooting At Glen Burnie Pool Party: Police
A Baltimore man is dead after gunshots were fired at a Glen Burnie pool party. Police say two other people were injured.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Baltimore man is dead and two other people are being treated at area hospitals for injuries after gunshots were fired Friday night at a pool party in Glen Burnie, say Anne Arundel County Police. About 11:15 p.m. officers were called to the 500 block of Everett Road on a report that shots were fired.
Police say James Antonio Diggs IV, 29, of the 4300 block of Chatham Road in Gwynn Oak, was found with a gunshot wound. He was taken by the fire department to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives at the shooting scene learned two more victims had gone to area
hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The victims are a 21-year-old woman and a 27-year- old man; their names have not been released.

Investigators talked with several witnesses and multiple pieces of evidence were collected at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for July 6 to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
