Breezy in the afternoon. High: 82 Low: 62. We skipped spring and went straight to summer!
Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:
- Another deadly car accident in Glen Burnie just after midnight on Tuesday, May 17. The driver of a dump truck has been arrested and charged with a variety of offenses including impaired driving. Anthony Filardo, 33, of Severna Park was the victim. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
- Shots were fired when a Special Police Officer confronted five trespassers on a Metropolitan Police temporary impound lot. Gun fire was exchange, but luckily no one was injured. Three of the five suspects have been arrested. Any information on the other two suspects, please call the police. (WUSA 9)
- And yet another deadly car accident where alcohol is a factor. An intoxicated driver hit and killed a road worker in Davidsonville on Monday, May 16. Christopher Jonathan Asher, 48, was the driver that hit and killed Lizeth Guzman, 56.(Fox Baltimore)
- Governor Larry Hogan has doubled the reward for the arrest of the person who shot and killed a teen. The teen was shot hours after he left his Junior Prom. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the police. (WMAR 2)
