2 Men Arrested In Drug Incidents Netting $880, Xanax Bars: Police
Two Severn men were arrested in separate drug incidents in Glen Burnie that yielded $880, Xanax bars, cocaine, marijuana and other drugs.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Two Severn men face charges in two separate drug violation incidents that unfolded in Glen Burnie Tuesday and Wednesday. At approximately 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, an Anne Arundel County police officer was patrolling the area of 5th Avenue and Padfield Boulevard when he spied an occupied vehicle. The officer caught the scent of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After speaking with the driver, the officer learned he had an outstanding arrest warrant and was placed under arrest.
According to the department, the officer discovered 70 grams of marijuana, 32 pills of Alprazolam and a digital scale in the vehicle. John Duvall-Phillip Canova, 20, of the 1400 block of Washington Ave. was taken into custody.
On Tuesday shortly after 10 p.m., Anne Arundel County police officers stopped a maroon Ford Taurus traveling in the area of Crain Highway and Route 97 in Glen Burnie. Officers searched the vehicle and discovered 10.7 grams of suspected cocaine, 61 Xanax bars, several Suboxone strips, THC wax and $880. According to a police report, officers arrested Mason Donald Glenn Clark, 22, of the 100 block of West Virginia Avenue in Severn.
