Here are the top stories today in Glen Burnie:
- The Baltimore Ravens lost a legend yesterday. Lovingly referred to as "The Goose," 55-year-old Tony Siragusa has passed away. He helped the Ravens win the Super Bowl in 2000 and was a fan favorite. The cause of death is unknown at this time. (Fox Baltimore) The Baltimore Ravens took another hit yesterday with the passing of Jaylon Ferguson. Ferguson was the Ravens 26-year-old linebacker who was starting his fourth season with the team. The cause of death is still under investigation. (WMAR)
- Tahir Henderson, 25, and Henry Gonzalez, 38, of Glen Burnie were arrested Tuesday, June 21. When police approached the vehicle, marijuana was seen. This prompted the police to search the vehicle and found a loaded weapon. Gonzalez had an outstanding warrant. (Daily Voice)
- Police are asking for assistance in identifying a woman who stole a shopping cart full of merchandise. The woman was seen leaving the J.C. Penney store and getting into a U-Haul truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the police. (Fox Baltimore)
- The Anne Arundel Police are asking for help locating 18-year-old Daryelle Croslin. She was last seen on June 2 in the 7900 block of Myers Drive. No other details are known at this time. (Shore News Network)
- The 7-Eleven store on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie was robbed on June 22 at about 5:30 a.m. The suspect came into the store showing a weapon and then jumped behind the counter demanding money. The victim opened the cash register, and the suspect took the cash and fled on foot. (Shore News Network)
