24 Bags And 56 Grams Of Marijuana Found In Man's Car: Police

Two Pasadena men were found in Glen Burnie with 24 bags of marijuana in their car and an additional combined 56 grams of marijuana on them.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Thursday night shortly before 10 p.m., an Anne Arundel County police officer stopped a Ford Fusion at Crainmont Drive and Donna Court. As he walked toward the vehicle, he smelled marijuana and saw marijuana flakes and residue in the vehicle, prompting a closer look.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the officer also found five packages containing concentrated cannabis oil (85-90 percent THC), a digital scale and 24 assorted packages containing suspected marijuana or THC.

Both people in the vehicle were arrested. The driver, 20-year-old Kobe Christian Drew of Pasadena, was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing 22.79 grams of suspected marijuana. The passenger, 20-year-old Cody Thomas Carpenter had a plastic bag containing 33.41 grams of suspected marijuana. Police arrested both suspects and charged them accordingly, a police report noted.
