3 Drug-Related Arrests Made In Glen Burnie: Police

One man from Pasadena and two people from Virginia have been arrested and face drug-related charges stemming from two separate incidents.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — One Marylander and two Virginians have been arrested in two separate drug-related incidents in Glen Burnie. On Feb. 10 at approximately 12:05 a.m., an Eastern district officer spied a suspicious vehicle that had been the target of a complaint earlier in the day. The officer spoke with the driver, 57-year-old Robert M. Smith Jr. of Pasadena, and searched the vehicle, discovering capsules containing suspected heroin, three small containers containing suspected heroin, a clear bag containing suspected heroin and two smoking devices with suspected CDS residue. A starter pistol was also recovered from the vehicle.

That same day at 2:10 a.m. Eastern district detectives stopped a green GMC SUV at Crain Highway and Crainmont Drive. After searching the vehicle, the detectives discovered 38 gel capsules of suspected heroin/fentanyl mixture, 1.34 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl mixture in powder form, 13 vials of suspected crack cocaine and 1.13 grams of suspected MDMA. Arrested were 42-year-old Tracey Cole Hutchison of Ruther Glen, Va., and 19-year-old Brian Jamal Wanzer of Gainsville, Va.
