$30K Damage In Glen Burnie House Fire

A fire caused $30,000 damage to a Glen Burnie house under renovation, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County Fire investigators are trying to determine what started a house fire that caused an estimated $30,000 in damage. The fire was reported by passerbys at 6:17 p.m. Monday at 1060 Seventh Street in Glen Burnie.

Several people called 911 to report smoking coming from the two-story single family house, which is being renovated and is unoccupied, according to the fire department. Firefighters located and extinguished a fire inside the front door.

No injuries to civilians or responders were reported.
