4 People Face Charges In Glen Burnie Check Fraud Case: Police
Officers also observed in plain view suspected CDS and drug paraphernalia while the vehicle was in the bank drive-thru lane.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Four individuals have been arrested regarding a check fraud case that occurred Sept. 24 at approximately 3:15 p.m. at Sandy Springs Bank, 7405 Ritchie Highway. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, a man was attempting to cash a stolen check. Officers were able to apprehend the driver and three passengers as they waited in the drive-thru of the bank.
Officers also observed in plain view suspected CDS and drug paraphernalia, the police report stated. The passengers were detained and later arrested and charged. In their possession was:
- 17 full gel capsules of suspected heroin/fentanyl
- 23 empty gel capsules
- syringes
- CDS smoking devices
Arrested in this incident are Sydney Errol Arthur Smith, Jr., 43, of Ellicott City; Stacey Lynn Brown, 41, of Baltimore; Amanda Nichole Booze, 30, of Millersville; and Joshua Anson Pohlman, 40, of Glen Burnie.
