1. Early Wednesday morning in the area of Mary Lane and Oakwood Road, a man was walking alone when two men approached him. They demanded he hand over his valuables, so the man gave them his cell phone and a vape device. The suspects then began chasing the man and hit him on the back of the head, according to a police report released by the Anne Arundel County Police Department. Police couldn't find the suspects and ask for the public's help. (Patch)

2. Anne Arundel County Public Schools on Wednesday opened its coronavirus vaccine clinics to students 12 and older. The school system also allowed small crowds to return to its board meetings, which have been closed or virtual for 14 months. (Patch)
