Federal Affordable Health Care Act
The
Anne Arundel County Department of Health will be holding a Health
Care Reform Forum open to the public. The featured guest speaker will be
Martin F. Smith, Ph.D., Special Assistant to the Health Officer for Health Care
Reform and Organizational Change with the Anne Arundel County Department of
Health.
It will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the Ferndale Fire House,
which is near the Ferndale Light Rail Stop. The Forum will be scheduled
from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will include a video, power point presentations
and a question and answer session.
Members
of HealthCare Access Maryland have also been invited to attend. They will
be assisting Anne Arundel County residents to enroll in the Maryland Health
Connection. Other county agencies have been invited to send
representatives to this meeting.
