GLEN BURNIE, MD — Ethan Perry Labuskes, a 33-year-old Glen Burnie man, is facing attempted murder charges after attacking his grandfather with a hammer.
The Anne Arundel County Police said investigators were alerted to the case Friday shortly before midnight, when the grandfather was seeking medical care at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Police described the injuries he suffered as being "very serious."
Authorities did not detail what prompted the hammer attack, stating the pair got into an altercation at the Glen Burnie home.
Labuskes was arrested by Saturday and hit with eight charges, including five felonies. The offenses include:
Court records show Labuskes remains held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 26 in Annapolis.
