Loaded Glock found under driver's seat during late-night Glen Burnie traffic stop (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A late-night traffic stop near Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Sumac Road in Glen Burnie ended with police seizing a loaded 9mm Glock from beneath a driver's seat and arresting a 22-year-old Virginia man. No one was injured, and authorities have not detailed the original traffic violation or specific charges, while emphasizing the suspect is presumed innocent.
3. Man shot by ICE in Glen Burnie released from custody (baltimoresun.com) — Residents may recall the Christmas Eve ICE shooting in Glen Burnie; the man wounded in that encounter, Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins, has now been released from custody with a sentence of time served. He pleaded guilty to damaging government vehicles, and advocacy group We Are CASA says his family is finally reunited after more than eight months of uncertainty.
