• Highway Worker Injured in I-97 Work Zone Crash in Anne Arundel County (eyeonannapolis.net) — A highway worker was injured early Wednesday when a car struck an active work zone on northbound I-97 near Route 32, in a crash handled by troopers from the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack. Investigators say a Mercedes rear-ended a slowing Toyota, then veered into the work area, and are examining whether impairment played a role as charges remain pending.
