🌱Annapolis Cars Broken Into + Royal Farms Robbed + WiFi Impersonator

Hello again, everybody! It's me, Michele, your host of the Glen Burnie Daily. Keep reading to find out the most important things happening in town these days.


First, today's weather:

Partly sunny. High: 85 Low: 70.


Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:

  1. What should have been a routine traffic stop turned out to be much more than that! It turns out the driver had an out-of-state suspended license and had a loaded handgun in his possession. The driver has been arrested. (Newsbreak)
  2. Monday night in Annapolis was a hot spot for stealing. Numerous cars were broken into, and valuables stolen from them. Police are reminding people to always lock your car and hide or remove any valuables. Two men were also caught on camera stealing a water heater from the Annapolis Home Depot. (WNAV)
  3. The Royal Farms store in Gambrills was robbed Sunday around 5:45 a.m. The suspect entered the store, went behind the counter and started taking tobacco products from the shelf. He fled the scene by the back entrance. (Shore News Network)
  4. Stephen Ricardo Bennie, 21, tried and failed to impersonate a Wi-Fi inspector. The homeowner was suspicious and confronted Bennie. Bennie then attacked the homeowner, stole his cell phone before fleeing the scene. Officers found the suspect and he has been arrested. (Newsbreak)
