Annapolis Man Shot, Killed In Glen Burnie: Police

Witnesses told police they heard gunfire then saw the victim lying in the parking lot.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 21-year-old Glen Burnie man was shot and killed Thursday in the 300 block of Gatewater Court. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Jaylin Tyrek King of Annapolis was found lying in the parking lot, unresponsive with gunshot wounds. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department tried to revive King, but were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives found items of value located near King's body. Witnesses told police they heard gunfire then saw King lying in the parking lot. King was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. The Anne Arundel County Police asks that anyone with information call the Anne Arundel County Homicide Unit at 410-222-4731.
