Anne Arundel LWV Hosts Discussion on Regional Transit Initiative

The Anne Arundel County League of Women Voters will host a discussion on the Regional Transit Initiative on March 18. The event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Annapolis Area Library, located at 1410 West Street in Annapolis. Speakers will include Mr. Richard Newell, Director of the Annapolis Department of Transportation, and Mr. John Powell, Jr., Administrator of the Howard County Office of Transportation. The Regional Transit Initiative is a draft agreement designed to combine the transportation resources of Anne Arundel and Howard counties, thereby reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
