AT&T Women's Group Donates 50+ Backpacks to Hebron-Harman Elementary School

The Women of AT&T in Maryland donated more than 50 backpacks to students in need at Hebron-Harman Elementary School

Students in need attending Hebron-Harman Elementary School in Anne Arundel County will start the new school year with a smile and brand new backpack, thanks to the Women of AT&T (WOA) in Maryland. The local employee resource group – comprised of employees from the company’s offices in Annapolis, Columbia, Hanover and Washington, DC – donated more than 50 backpacks stuffed with school supplies.

“The Women of AT&T regularly come together to support programs in communities where we live and work,” said Mannie Pallia, WOA Maryland Chapter President. “Our Maryland Chapter is proud to continue our community outreach program with the 3rd Annual Operation Backpacks. We want the students to start the year with some of the essential tools they will need for success. We hope every student has a great school year!”

WOA is organized to connect and inspire members to achieve their personal and professional goals and to affect change in the community.
