ATV Crash Kills Glen Burnie Driver, Passenger Injured

A chain blocking the path of an ATV caused a crash that killed a Glen Burnie man, and sent his passenger to the hospital, police say.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie man died and his passenger was injured when the ATV they were riding struck a chain on the path, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The fatal accident happened about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in Brandon Woods Park in Curtis Bay.

Police say Brady Cole Harmon, 23, of the 7900 block of Oakwood Road, and his passenger, Megan Elizabeth Solley, 20, of the 7600 block of Solley Road in Glen Burnie, were both thrown from the ATV when it hit a chain. Paramedics pronounced Harmon dead at the scene. Solley was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment and released.
