Are We Getting the Facts?

 Are you hearing and seeing lots of ads about presidential candidates--lots of claims on both sides?  Did you wonder if these ads are giving it to us straight?  True “facts” or twisted facts?  The whole story or half-truths?

 Check the facts at Flackcheck.org.  That takes you to some fun stuff, plus a connection to Factcheck.org, set up by the Annenberg Center, dedicated to reasoned analysis of the ads.

Wouldn’t it be great if the TV stations fact checked and refused to put on an ad that didn’t give the facts straight?  What would they say if you asked them to do that?
