Maryland and Virginia have long been among our nation’s economic leaders. Even as we move forward out of this deep recession, both states are creating jobs and expanding opportunity especially in the critical sectors of science, security and innovation. As a result of our close proximity, Maryland and Virginia are often benchmarked with each other.
