This year's Bid for Hope proceeds will benefit the . The clinic is the first free-standing (not hospital affiliated), completely free medical clinic in Anne Arundel County. It provides comprehensive medical services to the county’s uninsured through voluntary partnerships with doctors from and other volunteer physicians from the community.

If you’ve not yet attended a Bid for Hope, you’re in for quite a treat—excellent food, live music, exciting auctions, wonderful fellowship, and a great cause! 

My how we’ve grown! 

We celebrate the partnerships of over 75 churches and community organizations and businesses that faithfully support the Arundel House of Hope (AHOH) through direct donations, hosting the , and participating in the Bid for Hope. 

What’s the goal? 

Our goal is to sell out the Bleue this year. We came close last year with 550, but we’re really hoping to sell another 100 tickets this year. So if you’ve not yet attended, please join us and help grow support for this worthy cause. If you’re a faithful attendee, please invite even more of your friends and family this year. 

What else can you do?

We’re always looking for donations, monetary and non-monetary. If you have items for the silent/live auction like baskets, homemade crafts, sports tickets, gift cards, themed items, etc., please contact us at Bid4Hope@comcast.net. If you or someone you know owns their own company and may be interested in Corporate Sponsorships from $100-$5000, please contact us at Bid4Hope@comcast.net. 

Not familiar with the Arundel House of Hope?

The Arundel House of Hope, Inc. began its ministry in 1992 as a community movement, supported by local churches and volunteers, to address the issue of homelessness. Over the past nineteen years, AHOH has grown to encompass several vital programs:

• Winter Relief Temporary Shelter (opened 1992);
• Transitional Housing Program (opened 2000);
• Community Permanent Housing Program (opened 2003);
• Homeless Resource and Day Center (opened 2006);
• Safe Haven Supportive Housing Program I and II (opened 2006 and 2009); 
• WISH Permanent Housing Program for homeless women (opened 2008);
• Doughy Dog Social Enterprise Program (opened 2009);
• Community Housing Program II (opened 2011);
• —transitional housing program for veterans (opened 2011, and;
• House of Hope Medical Clinic (opened 2011).

Over the next five years, AHOH plans to continue expanding in areas of job preparation, physical and mental health treatment, and housing program offerings.
