North Glen Disc Golf announces Rocky's Revenge V powered by SJT Plumbing & Heating supporting winter coats for the kids of George Cromwell and North Glen Elementary Schools.
Local disc golf nonprofit sports club continues its fifth yearly effort to fund coat and cold weather gear purchases for under-resourced school kids.
Glen Burnie, MD - November 7, 2026 - The North Glen Disc Golf Club is hosting Rocky's Revenge V powered by SJT Plumbing & HVAC on Sunday November 15 at North Glen Park. The event will feature a two round doubles format for teams of local disc golf professional and amateur players.
The 2026 edition highlights the addition of SJT Plumbing & HVAC as the title sponsor totally funding the $1200 purchase of costs, gloves, hats and other gear for George Cromwell and North Glen Elementary Schools to distribute at no cost to the kids on an as-needed basis.
“Every child deserves to be able to go to school warm and protected from a harsh winter regardless of their families' ability to provide for them," said course designer and lead disc golf liaison to AACPS, Duncan Yeager. “This event isn’t just about playing disc golf, it's about joining together the sport we love and the local kids' that we care about. It’s about investing in the future of our neighborhood kids and using disc golf to focus our community.”
Funds derived from this event are used to purchase coats and gear in a full range of sizes to fit kids from first through fifth grade. Both schools maintain a clothes closet that hands out items on request at no cost to the kids.
The event is a highly contested doubles event that draws some of the local top professional and amateur players. Parking and gallery attendance is available at no charge to the public that would like to follow groups and see some amazing disc golf play on a challenging AACo. P&R disc golf course.
